As of August, 2023 construction is on schedule and will continue shifting from Stage 1 to Stage 2 (out of 5 stages) at multiple locations over the next several months. The next shift to occur will be in the Northbound Outer Roadway at Milepost 87.10 and is scheduled for the night of August 24th.

  •  Northbound Outer Roadway (Truck Lanes) at Structure 87.10

    • The right two lanes will be shifted 24 feet to the right onto the newly constructed bridge deck. The shift is currently scheduled for the night of August 24th and motorists should expect minimal delays, if any, while the shift is taking place. 

  

 

Milepost 83-85 (Structure 84.24 & 84.55)

  • Northbound Traffic on both the inner and outer roadways is currently shifted to the left to create a work zone on the right side of the bridge structures. Northbound Stage 1 completion date tentatively scheduled for the end of October, 2023.

  • Southbound traffic on both the inner and outer roadways is currently shifted to the left to create a work zone on the right side of the bridge structures. Southbound Stage 1 completion date tentatively scheduled for the end of November, 2023

  Milepost 85-88 (Structure 85.77 & 87.10)

  • Northbound Traffic

    • The  inner roadway is currently shifted to the left to create room for shifting the outer roadway to create room for work zones and will remain in this configuration until January 2024.

    • Structure 85.77N in the outer roadway is now in Stage 2 and has one lane to the left of the work zone and two lanes to the right of the work zone and will remain in this configuration until January, 2024.

    • Structure 87.10N in the outer roadway is scheduled to shift into Stage 2 on August 24th as mentioned above and will have one lane to the left of the work zone and two lanes to the right of the work zone and will remain in this configuration until February, 2024.


 

  • Southbound Traffic

    • The inner roadway is currently shifted to the left to create room for shifting the outer roadway to create room work zones and will remain in this configuration until November, 2023.

    • The outer roadway at Structure 85.77S is in Stage 2 which has the left lane separated from the center and right lanes by construction barrier with the work zone to the right of all three lanes.  It will remain in this configuration until December, 2023. 

    • The outer roadway at Structure 87.10S is in Stage 2 which has the left lane separated from the center and right lanes by a construction barrier with the work zone to the right of all three lanes.  It will remain in this configuration until November, 2023.
