As of March 2025, construction is on schedule and will continue shifting traffic into their final stages over the next several months.
On Friday night March 28th through Saturday night March 29th a High Intensity Construction Cycle (HICC) of the Northbound inner roadway (car lanes) adjacent to Structures 85.77N and 87.10N will have all of the Precast Concrete Construction Barrier (PCCB) removed from the roadway and have the center lane and right lane milled and paved to their final grade. This will require the closure of the right and center lanes from 8PM on Friday night until approximately 2:00 PM on Saturday afternoon. All of the truck lanes will be open to both car and truck traffic during this period.
This area will then be restriped to its final alignment (pre-construction alignment) on the night of April 2nd. Motorists should expect minimal, if any, delays while the shift is taking place.
